The Chicks
The Dixie Chicks, now known as The Chicks, were kool before it was thing. They risked everything, fame, money (take note billioniares) to be on the right side of history, and boy were they ever. A female country band with fans rooted in red states went on stage in 2003 and publicly spoke against the Iraqi war. #GirlPower. To say they were criticized and lambasted would be undermining the effect that night had on their career.
Thank god the world has come around to the fact that The Chicks had it right all along.

Leslie Gifford, NAKEDCASHMERE's Founder and President, began the Collection rooted in her passion for philanthropy and love for giving back.
