Here are some of our favorite places to shop - on-line or IRL. Some differing sensibilities here, but we love to mix it up.
Anine Bing - Rock & Roll Mama! Great inspiration.
Cos - Mara could buy her entire wardrobe here. Modern, functional, considered.
Eileen Fisher - Well-made items you can mix into your wardrobe and you’ll have forever. Love their environmental ethos and pro-woman programs.
J. Crew - You say nah, but then you go and you’re like yes, yes, yes.
Goop - Yes, we know, Gwyneth. Pros and Cons. But the clothes are beautiful.
Madewell - Good jeans and casual basics.
Modern Citizen - Modern, chic and sophisticated classics.
Coach - Classic and traditional at the same time.
Nordstrom - They are killing it on line. Cool collaborations, good selection and helpful outfit suggestions. Plus the sales!
Lou & Grey - Comfy, cozy plus great sneakers.
Everlane - Excellent t-shirts and basics. “Radical transparency” in their production and pricing. Ethically made.
Stuart Weitzman - Love their dressy shoes and their wide selection of boots.
Equipment - Go-to for great silk shirts and dresses.
Tory Burch - Graphic and feminine pieces. Not the whole outfit, but key items.
Century 21 - In NYC, the downtown C21 is a fashion mecca. Third floor has the high end designers at 75% off - incredible prices. Warning - you have to love the hunt. Their on-line store has good selection and prices for sure, but nothing like being there in person.
